Valve’s VR renderer used in The Lab (Valve’s VR launch title for the HTC Vive).
This is the set of scripts and shaders that drove rendering in The Lab. It is a forward renderer with support for up to 18 dynamic shadowing lights in a single pass with MSAA enabled, and it included the Adaptive Quality system that dynamically adjusts rendering resolution to maintain framerate in VR.
I'm getting some shader errors in the console, but everything still seems to work just fine. The package is well documented and comes with a wealth of helpful tools/replacements.
I still can't believe Valve released this for free.
The anti aliasing is unreal ... Otherwise a little hard to understand what is going on. All Post-effects do not work on this. Which is sad. But I am confident this will be fixed in the future.
